Renovating the historic Bath Press site, this facility is being provided to City & Country to create 250 new homes.
The 5.3-acre site, located on Lower Bristol Road, was once home to the Pitman Press printing works.
Work commenced earlier in 2025 with plans to complete in phases over the next four years.
The first houses are expected to be completed in Winter 2026.
Paragon’s funding will be used to support the acquisition of the site, together with development funding for the first phase which will deliver 134 apartments and 12 houses.
Nine of the former will be affordably priced.

Wayne Douglas, managing director at City & Country, added: “Bath Press is a hugely important acquisition for us, offering the opportunity to create a thriving community in a location with exceptional heritage and connectivity.
“Bath is a city of global significance, and this development will reflect the high quality and placemaking that City & Country is known for.”
